Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ImportOps ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on import-ops.com and related marketing pages, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1.Introduction
We are committed to transparency about tracking technologies. This policy applies to visitors to our marketing website. The authenticated application on app.import-ops.com may use strictly necessary session cookies required for login; those are outside the marketing cookie banner but are described here for completeness.
2.What are cookies and similar technologies
2.1Cookies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a site. First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by another domain (for example a payment or security provider).
2.2Similar technologies
We may use local storage, session storage, pixels, or SDKs with equivalent functions to cookies for security, preferences, or measurement.
3.How we use cookies by category
3.1Strictly necessary
Required for the website or app to function, for example authentication session cookies on the application domain, load balancing, or security tokens. These do not require consent under UK PECR where they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested.
3.2Functional
Enable enhanced functionality such as embedded payment widgets (for example Paddle.js for price preview) or Cloudflare Turnstile on demo request forms. These may set or read cookies when you interact with those features.
3.3Analytics
Help us understand how visitors use our marketing site (for example page views and funnels). We only load analytics scripts after you opt in through the cookie banner.
3.4Marketing
Used to measure the effectiveness of advertising or email campaigns where deployed. Loaded only after opt-in.
4.Third-party cookies and scripts
Third parties may set their own cookies when their components load. Examples may include:
- Paddle (payments and checkout-related technologies);
- Cloudflare (Turnstile and security);
- Analytics or advertising partners if and when enabled.
Those providers have their own privacy and cookie notices. We do not control their practices beyond our configuration and contractual terms.
5.Consent and prior blocking
- On our marketing site, non-essential cookies and scripts (including analytics and marketing) are not loaded until you have expressed a choice through the cookie banner, except where a technology is strictly necessary for the service requested.
- Your choices are stored locally (for example in localStorage and a first-party cookie) for up to twelve (12) months, after which the banner may reappear.
6.How to change or withdraw consent
You may reopen the cookie preferences panel at any time using the "Cookie settings" control in the site footer, or by clearing stored preferences and refreshing the page so the banner displays again. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
7.Browser controls
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. If you block all cookies, parts of our site or application may not function (for example you may be unable to stay signed in).
8.Updates to this policy
We may amend this Cookie Policy when we change technologies or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change accordingly. Material changes may be highlighted by a notice on the site or by requesting renewed consent where required.
